The Putnam County School District is committed to making our content accessible to all members of the public, including those with disabilities. This includes parents, students, employees, and all others associated with our district.
We are in the process of updating our website to bring it into full compliance of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0.

GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE: TITLE II/SECTION 504
If you wish to file a complaint about the website under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, please see follow the instructions below from Putnam County Board of Education Policy Manual, section 5.2.
SECTION 504/ADA PROHIBITION AGAINST DISCRIMINATION BASED ON DISABILITY
Pursuant to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and its implementing regulations, no otherwise qualified individual with a disability shall, solely by reason of his/her disability, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. The Board does not discriminate in admission or access to, or participation in, or treatment, or employment in, its programs or activities. As such, the Board's policies and practices will not discriminate against employees and students with disabilities, will provide equal opportunity for employment, and will make accessible to qualified individuals with disabilities its facilities, programs, and activities. No discrimination will be knowingly permitted against any individual with a disability on the sole basis of that disability in any of the programs, activities, policies, and/or practices in the county system.
Sharla Griffith, the Director of Exceptional Education, is the county Section 504/ADA Compliance Officer. This employee is responsible for coordinating the county system's efforts to comply with and fulfill its responsibilities under Section 504 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). A copy of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as amended, including copies of their implementing regulations, may be obtained from the county Compliance Officer.
