Last night, Putnam County Elementary School Math Field Day Teams met at Buffalo High School for an action-packed math showdown. Students competed for top honors and a starring role to represent Putnam County at the Regional Math Field Day competition in March. Putnam County Schools will partner with Fruth Pharmacy to host a COVID-19 Vaccine, Booster, and Flu Shot Clinic on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at Hurricane High School from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Pre-registration will not be required; no appointments necessary.

The Putnam County Collaborative Pre-K Program will begin registration for their FREE 4-year-old Pre-K Program as follows:
Beginning January 18, 2022, parents/guardians may register their child by visiting the PCS website at www.putnamschools.com, selecting the “Menu” tab, “Parents,” “PreK,” and then clicking the “Sign-Up” button to begin the registration process by filling out the questionnaire.
Please Note: The registration link will not be available until 8 a.m. on January 18th.
If internet access is unavailable, parents/guardians may call Putnam County Schools at (304)586-0500 ext. 1133, ext. 1178, or ext. 1122 for assistance.
Children must reside in Putnam County and turn four before July 1, 2022, to be eligible.
