Twenty years ago, the United States endured one of the most inconceivable tragedies in our countryâs history. On Patriot Day and National Day of Service and Remembrance, we remember and honor every life taken too soon. Each year we remember the bravery of our first responders, service members, and citizens who unwaveringly answered the call of duty. Their sacrifice and courage embody the American spirit and resilience, and their heroism inspires new generations. Each year we remember how we came together, united, we renew our vow to never forget.
